• First-time Home Buyer Credit Enacted as Part of Housing Stimulus Package After months of intensive lobbying by the entire NAHB federation and the dedicated staff in Washington, President Bush has signed the housing stimulus package into law. It is important for you to get the word out to your customers about the tax credit and “why NOW is a great time to buy a home”. A new consumer website, www.federalhousingtaxcredit.com has been created that includes details and a set of comprehensive questions & answers about how the credit works & how consumers can take advantage of it.
